Marshall Goldsmith

World's #1 Executive Coach and Leadership Thinker

Dr. Marshall Goldsmith has been named the World’s #1 Executive Coach and the World’s #1 Leadership Thinker. He has been a pioneer in helping successful leaders achieve positive, lasting change in behavior. His success is built upon a very practical, no-nonsense approach to leadership. His clients have included over 150 major CEOs.

Marshall is also the author of multiple New York Times bestsellers (including Triggers and What Got You Here Won’t Get You There)  and has decades of experience helping men and women win. What led him to become the first male guest on the When Women Win Podcast was his bestselling book How Women Rise, in which Marshall and co-author Sally Helgesen break down the 12 habits holding professional women back in the workplace.

While structural and systemic changes must be made to the workplace to give women equal opportunity to rise, this book rather focuses on things that a woman herself can control to make herself more effective. We highly recommend the book to all women, dads of daughters, HR managers, and CEOs out there.

In arguably his most far-reaching undertaking as an executive coach, Marshall recently launched “100 Coaches,” a project designed to pass on his knowledge to the next generation. The original plan was to attract 15 coaches who would each commit to passing on their own knowledge to 15 others. Such was demand that the project was expanded to 100 coaches, all admitted to the program at no charge, and with the expectation that they too will “pay it forward.”

Marshall was inducted into the Thinkers50 Hall of Fame in 2018.
